Cabin fever? @ 05:29 pm

The whole being-stuck-in-the-house-because-of-the-snow-storm really didn't affect me that much. Maybe it's because I don't mind staying home for days at a time. Maybe it's because I work 7 blocks away so getting to work was pretty easy, even on the worst days. Maybe it was because I like the snow and ice, it's a break from the monotony.

It seemed to me that a lot of people showed a lot of anger about some aspect of this storm or another. I really don't think it bugged me that much. I actually kind of enjoyed it. It was a once every 40 years kind of storm.

If I was still living with my folks in Canby, I wouldn't have been as bothered by the snow storm, since I could just walk to work. But with living in Portland, and owning a Civic, I end up having to use PTO because I can't get into work, and I don't have that much PTO saved up :p Thats the annoying part.

Luckily I was able to get down to Canby so I could stay with my folks and only miss 1 day of work this week.
