Of kids and real "cartoons" @ 09:26 am

The number one most watched DVD in my house is Tarzan. Gabriel would watch that movie everyday if we would allow it. I don't have a problem with that, it's a good movie, but I'm kinda tired of it. I decided to try out an alternate "cartoon" with him, My Neighbor Totoro. He loves it!

Next up Spirited away and maybe Kiki's Delivery Service.

Hip hip hooray for Studio Ghibli! My children will have it force-fed to them if they don't like it! Yay!

I tried getting him to watch some Dragonball with me but he wasn't having it. Studio Ghibli seems to be more up his alley though. Maybe when he's older :)

Oh, and although there are scary parts, don't forget about Howl's Moving Castle. That'll be another good one once he's got a few more years under his belt.

I was pondering that also... it's no more scary than Spirited Away. He's two, he just wants something with some action and some pretty colors. I think he'll be OK either way. I do have to be careful to make sure he doesn't get scared. I watched an episode of X-Files with me an jumped when something exploded on screen. So he's too young for that sort of stuff.
