In October, squirrel attacks are on the increase, and no one is safe @ 08:33 am

So I'm checking Slashdot this morning and there is an article about a couple of guys that won the Nobel Prize for their research in stomach and intestinal ulcers. Looks like ulcers are caused by bacteria instead of lifestyle. With that knowledge it appears they can treat problems like mine a little more proactively. I'd assume that if you win the Nobel Prize for your research it's probably a pretty good bet it's legit.

In 1982, when H. pylori was discovered by Dr Marshall and Dr Warren, stress and lifestyle were considered the major causes of stomach and intestinal ulcers.
It is now firmly established that the bacterium causes more than 90% of duodenal (intestinal) ulcers and up to 80% of gastric (stomach) ulcers.

Does it say what causes bacteria to get into the intestine and how that is treated and cured?
