I just started reading Baby Wise, which several people have recommended I read before the baby arrives and it's kind of freaking me out. There is a lot of stuff to know and understand so you don't totally mess your kid up. I have no idea how I'm going to remember all this.
One of the things in the book was talking about how important it is to get your baby to sleep through the night. I can attest to the fact (today) that not getting enough sleep really slows down your mental processing, and your focus. The book was stating that not having your baby sleep through the night while their brain is still largely being formed could have consequences down the line such as ADD, or other behavioral problems. I never would have thought.
