So I'm listening to Savage Garden - Affirmation.mp3 and in the song he says:

I believe trust is more important than monogamy

My first thought was that he was right and that I'd never really looked at it that way before. However, upor further reflection I'm thinking that maybe you can't have good trust in a relationship without monogamy. I'm sure it's possible as there are polyamorous couples out there, but I think for the majority of people those two are mutually exclusive.

I think monogamy requires trust, and that trust is one of the main building blocks of monogamy.

When was the last time the ausies got anything right? Other than Nicole Kidman.
