So I'm reading Fast Food Nation and I just learned something I'd share with everyone. Apparently E. coli bacteria is present in abundance in the human stomach. It's a bacteria that helps digest food, synthesize vitamins, and guard against dangerous organisms. The E. coli that's deadly is E. coli0157:H7 and much less common. Who knew!

I knew that too. :) It is literally the only thing I remember from biology, which is somewhat pathetic.

oh, i've seen it. that changed my life, too. luke and i have cut back on fast food. but we both still have a weakness for taco bell...
