With no White Castles near by, mainers reduced to stabbing family members over mashed potatoes @ 09:49 pm

So my friend lives down in the New Orleans area and she said that with Ivan just about to come into town they're evacuating huge sections of people. So much so that they've closed the lane of the freeway coming in to town, and converted into a outbound lane. So basically the freeway down there is ONE way right now. Pretty nuts.

Also I found this really interesting article on wind power.

Even without further expected improvements in turbine technology, the U.S. would now need to use less than 3% of its farmland to get 95% of its electricity demand satisfied by wind power.

But if they use all that farmland for wind power where will they grow all the soy beans for my bio diesel car
