Subtitulos en Espanol (CC3) @ 05:27 pm

So at about 2:00pm today my boss comes to me and my coworker and shows us an email that he received. It said something to the effect of, "important mandatory meeting at 4:00pm for all managers and supervisors, with an all company meeting to follow at 4:30pm." No explanation, that was all.

He looked as us and said, "your guess is as good as mine." So for most of the afternoon we discussed what sort of Armageddon like topic would be required for them to announce an all company meeting the day of! I knew we weren't getting bought out or anything, we're a co-op and thus everyone would have to vote. What else could it be?

Needless to say we were all nervous going to the meeting, at which they announced that our company is going to be getting a new president. Now it's no secret that our old president had been talking about retiring, but no one really knew when. In fact I don't think he did either. So the new guy comes in and introduces himself and all is fine. I'm not quite sure why they didn't just schedule the announcement, instead of a surprise meeting. Could have been worse I guess!

It would have been lucrative to have had the vodka concession after THAT meeting. :D
