To mess up a Linux box you need to work at it; to mess up a Windows box you just need to work on it @ 09:40 pm

Let's see... what did I do today? I've been trying to practice only using one space after punctuation, but it's really hard. Apparently using two spaces is old school, and had more to do with typewriters (you had to hit space twice to see the last letter you typed), but with computers now it's now longer really required. It's fairly ingrained in my head however, so it's tough.

I watched the first episode of Carnivàle which was... interesting. I'll give a couple more episodes a watch just to see what happens. That's about all that's new really. Now I'm off to read some more of Wolves of the Calla. I finished rereading The Gunslinger last night and started WotC, and so far it's pretty good. I've read 8 whole pages (plus the introduction).

Took me about six months to kick the habit. Monica was really after me about second spaces. Thing is, I learned keyboarding on an x286, so my question is when did society determine the punctuation method to be old school?

I can imagine it's going to take me a while. It's still second nature to hit space TWICE after a period. UGH!

Ugh. Screw that, I'm so used to hitting space twice after a period there's just no way I can stop now. Maybe if my life depended on it or something.

It's tough man, I've been trying to do it all day. So far only a little luck. I have to stop manually at the end of each sentence and THINK about it. It sucks!

Wolves of Calla was fucking sweet. I really enjoy the Gunslinger series, whereas the rest of King's library fucking bores me anymore, you know? I think all of his life is put in those pages.

I'm still reading it, so done ruin it for me. The whole Gunslinger series is badass. I probably have $250+ of Gunslinger books :)

A lot of his other stuff is really good too! The Shining, It, The Stand, etc.
