Man dies 17 times in two days. Funeral home's answering machine explodes @ 12:19 pm

I'm gonna have to start going to Blockbuster on Saturday mornings more often. I had one last $.99 coupon I wanted to use to rent a game so I went over this morning to see if they had anything good in stock. I hit the jackpot. They had: Mario Cart, Final Fantasy X-2, Crash Nitro Kart, Viewtiful Joe, and Castlevania Lament of Innocence all in stock.

I ended up going with Crash Nitro Kart since Scotty already has Mario Cart, but X-2 was a close second. I wanna go out to Fry's today and see if they have any copies of Mario Cart left, it's a really sweet game.

friend of mine picked it up, i watched her play it a bit. it's an odd little game. it's not very serious. there's more silly/stupid jokes than there are strong plot elements. the whole game though doesn't take itself seriously. it's fairly fun... but only so long as you like recent Final Fantasy style games. lots of battles to level up, lots of "cinemas" of sorts, lots of style.

i'll probably pick it up when it's $35 or so... but it isn't something i'm going to rush out to get.

Re: FFX-2

It's getting pretty good reviews, and FF games are usually always fun. It'll give me something to do. I just have to finish Zelda first. Not to mention I bought Mario Cart today.
