Potsie 11:12 PM: Until I was like 12 I thought a vagina looked like an elf beard. @ 11:20 pm

So today at work my boss tells Justin and I that he really values us as employees and he really thinks we're doing a good job and he wants to acknowledge that. He tells us that he got us something to show his appreciation. "Uhhhhhh ok," I think to myself. He pulls out a brown paper sack with two Dr. Suess stuffed animals in it. "Thing 1" and "Thing 2," and I'm Thing 2. I didn't know what to think at first as it was an odd gift, "where's my iPaq" I think to myself.

Well I'm not well versed in my Cat in the Hat so he proceeds to tell us the story. When the Cat and the Hat goes to the kid's house they party and play all day long and trash the house. When the kids realize the parents are coming home they freak out because the house is a mess. The Cat in the Hat says not to worry and takes off his hat and removes Thing 1 and Thing 2 from it. They proceed to clean and fix everything in the entired house.

The moral of the story is that Thing 1 and Thing 2 are the go to guys and they can do anything. Not bad I'd say. The part I haven't figured out yet, does that mean my boss is supposed to be the Cat in the Hat and he always messes things up?

Heh. Heh. Heh.

You may want to read the story for yourself.

Better read the story. I think something got lost in the translation somewhere. Also, what happened to bonuses for a job well done?!

Wow - and you bought that? It's an interesting gesture, but you might want to have him read the story again.

Is he trying to insult you, bribe you, and own you?
Maybe he's just missing a marble, or maybe he's missing two.
If your boss pays you a visit bearing strange gifts take heed to the clue.
Beware of the motive that hides somewhere deep in the depths of his shoe.
