My whole body smells like a menstruating woman, especially my armpits @ 11:37 pm

Well my new linux box arrived today. My living room is now home to katatafish! Woohoo! I had a couple spare parts laying around so I bought the rest of the pieces and built a video box and it's working great! Took me some work to get the thing working with TV out. The TV-Out card I bought online has some funky connector and they didn't ship the cable I need to get it to work. Luckily I had an old Voodoo3 sitting around that I forgot out and it had TV. I had no idea if the thing would work, especially in TV-Out mode. That thing has been through the war... but it came out with flying colors! It's working pretty darn well now.

Got it all up and running with Xine and my wireless keyboard. Ben and I watched a little Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law on the bigscreen... not too shabby. I still have a little work to do, but for the most part things are working great. I'm fairly impressed things all came together. Linux rocks man, you couldn't do half this stuff with Windows.

Not to ruin your perfect little world, but I have done that stuff with Windows.

And by the way... hello.

you could also do all that just with an X-Box connected to the TV on your network
