"Some of the worst mistakes of my life have been haircuts." - Jim Morrison @ 11:42 pm

I forgot to mention in my last post... I got my paycheck today and on my paystub is has the ammount of accumlated PTO (Personal Time Off). This accounts for my sick days and my vacation days. As of this paycheck I had 229.99 hours of available PTO.

229.99 / 8 (hours in a day) / 5 (days in a week) = 5.75 weeks of solid time off I can potentially take.

damn, impressive. they cash out our vacation at the end of every year... as well as only giving us like 2 maybe 3 weeks of vacation a year. so sadly i'm WAY under that, only ~160 hours here.

I've got 383.17 hours of PTO available and 28.5 used as of this last pay check. I am thinking it's about time for a vacation.

Definitely. You don't wanna hit that threshold where you don't get any more.
