By the power vested in my fist... @ 12:51 pm

Well it's official! World Cup 2002 has claimed it's first casualty! Every world cup people riot, stores are burned and looted, and someone dies. Well this year the first death award goes to: Russia.

I don't really get it, it's just soccer. Granted Americans don't really get into world cup, we're certainly not rioting after the NBA finals, or the Stanley Cup. People are weird man, it's just a game. Let it go...

Every year there are riots due to the NCAA basketball tournaments.. obviously never near the scale of the world cup, but nonetheless..

They do? They must be small riots. I've never heard of them.
