Turkeys, the only animal smarter than man

So today at work was... interesting. We reached our goal of 300 dsl customers by the end of the year so the company bought us all this big lunch. They had catered lasagna, salad, and garlic bread. It was really quite good! Best free lunch I've had in a long time.

I finally gave up on my DNS project, and did it the sort of easy way. I was looking for the uber easy way but it wasn't coming. So I did part by hand and pumped it through a script to setup the rest. At least that's done. The rest of the day was spent killing time. It was really dead today, I don't think anyone got any work done today. Isaac said he spent most of the day just wandering around. I thought he did that everyday.

I did request December 19th off from work, we'll see if I get it. That's the release day for Fellowship of the Rings, I wanna go to the first showing. bigj is going with me, and maybe gorgonous if he takes the day off. He's a bit of a lemming, he's only going to take the day off if I get it :) That should be fun, as I'm sure I'll get the day off.

On an unrelated note I finished Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone today. 312 pages, 5 days. Just like I said, I rock. Good book, almost exactly like the movie save a few parts. The book is not very descriptive, so when the made the movie the filled in a lot of the details which they did quite well. I recommend it. I think I'll read the next LOTR book next.
