Put two in the pink, and your pinky in the stinky @ 10:59 pm

Just got back from seeing the Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back sneak preview. I was expecting it to be sold out, but there were maybe 20 people in the whole theater. They did NOT advertise it at all, nor did they give away free tickets. I think this was one of those things they knew the hardcore internet fans would go to, and then word-of-mouth advertise it.

I loved this movie, it was really funny. I haven't laughed this hard at a movie in a long time. It started out a little slow, which scared me but it picked right up. It's weird watching a comedy in a theater with 20 people in it. It's easy to laugh at a movie when everyone does, it takes a good film to laugh when you're the only one laughing.

I won't ruin any of the movie for you, but I will recommend that go you see it. It's definitely worth the $7! It's worth a LOT more than that if you get all the inside jokes that are in the flick. If you've listened to the commentaries on the Kevin Smith DVDs it'll be that much funnier. And stay through the credits. They're funny too :)

Only 20 people? Suck! I wanted to go to but I figured that it would be completely sold out before I even got there.

I figured it would be packed but it wasn't... It was crazy! They just didn't advertise it.

It was a packed house out here. Good crowd too, pretty much everyone was getting the inside jokes.

Although, not many caught the Echo Base reference, or the Greedo joke.

Apparently George decided that he wanted to take some of the edge off Han Solo, so in the Special Edition, unlike the original where Han just shoots Greedo, they altered the scene so that Greedo shoots first, but misses, and then Han shoots him in self defence apparently...

All in all, it's a pretty lame move, and people hated it. Han is *supposed* to be ruthless, and I just can't imagine a bounty hunter that can't hit a stationary target from three feet away ;)

Hence the "worst idea since Greedo shot first" line.
