Just watched Johnny Mnemonic for the first time in... many years. Interesting to see how far technology has come in that short span of time. He was hold 320 gigabytes of data in his head. I'm sure 1995 that was an unheard of amount of space. That's not too much these days. Otherwise a decent flick, I recommend it.

Four 80GB Maxtor drives can be had for around $870. Of course I don't think You'll be fitting them in a human head anytime soon, though.

I dunno, from his picture it looks like Scott's head is pretty big... he might be able to fit four, or at least 1 or 2... ;)

I haven't seen it..although I want to. It almost looks like his Matrix prerequisite.

There are a LOT of Matrix simliarities... jack in the head, loading data, etc...

Heh... Reminds me of a bit in "Neuromancer," when the main character talks about the 3MB of RAM he is going to sell to make his fortune...
