How do clean a collander? There are so many hole in it that it's hard to keep enough water in it to ever rinse it out.

oh, collanders and strainers. what a pain. strainers are easier... since the holes are smaller, i suppose... even if there are more of them... i try using my hand to cover the holes as i rinse over them...

Fill up the sink with enough water to keep sections of it under the water at a time.

why don't you just use a soaked sponge...

I don't use sponges, sponges are bad. They grow bacteria.
