Roger and Me @ 06:38 pm

Eric went down to the video store to rent Roger and Me. He has to write a paper on GM's practices for some class. I pulled out my old copy of Downsize This by Michael Moore and showed him that. He flipped through the book a little and it reminded me why I liked that book so much.

Update: That reminds me, I still need to see The Big One

I think that movie needs to be seen by everyone. I saw it in my US History class last year. FUCK CAPITALISM!
Is Downsize This worth reading? I've been meaning to but haven't had time.

Downsize This one of the best books I've ever read. If you think everyone should see Roger and Me, then everyone definitely should read his book as well.

His movies/books should be required reading/viewing before you're allowed to vote.

Did you know that the Amazon.com layoffs were all people that were trying to unionize? That sickened me when I found out. I cannot believe that the media did not bother to talk to ONE worker that was laid off, they just took the word of the company. They not be making a profit, but that doesn't give them the right to exploit their workers. They're not getting any more of my business.

Oh wow are you serious? That's fucking terrible. I already hate them because of their stupid patent lawsuits etc. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. I won't do any more business with them either. Thanks for the info. Do you get Michael Moore's newsletter? It's really pretty cool.
