I was just talking to an old friend who got fired from being the manager of Starbucks. I guess they fired him because the company had given him some teddy bears as gifts for whatever reason and his wife sold them on Ebay. Apparently she sold two teddy bears for a grand total of $12 and Starbucks said that he violated one of their policies. That policy says that an employee is not allowed to compete with Starbucks. How super lame is that? Sounds to me like it's just an excuse to get rid of him, but still.
