So I'm reading BoingBoing.net (which really should be required reading for everyone by the way) and I found this article about Bill O'Reilly. Apparently O'Reilly interview John Stewart of Daily Show fame and made some mention that the viewership of the Daily Show consisted mostly of "Stoned Slackers." I've never been a fan of O'Reilly that guy is a total tool, but it really seems like he's hitting below the belt this time. I didn't see it in context so maybe it's different in context, but still.

Needless to say the eggheads at Comedy Central did some research and concluded that:

"Viewers of Jon Stewart's show are more likely to have completed four years of college than people who watch 'The O'Reilly Factor'"

I'm totally shocked that uneducated people watch the Bill O'Reilly show! Next thing you're going to tell me high school drop outs love Jerry Springer. Amazing!

I just finished Children of Dune which is the third of the six (original) Dune books: WOW! That whole book is amazing, the end was especially great. I was really blown away, it was a much better book than the previous Dune story. I'm really interested to see what happens in the next book now!

I think that will have to wait as I just got back from the library with 1712 pages of new books to read! Six of my holds came in on one day. I've got some serious reading to do here in the near future. Not to mention The Dark Tower came out and not only have I not read it, I don't even own it yet! I'm getting behind.

Angie and I watched 50 First Dates tonight and in the closing scene they played Over the Rainbow as performed by Isreal Kamakawiwo'ole (ya that's what I said!). I thought it was a good song so I hit AMule to check it out, and I found approximately 50 covers of that song. So now I have Over the Rainbow as performed by the following: Faith Hill, Guns n Roses, Miles Davis, Judy Garland, Ray Charles, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, and Isreal Kamakawiwo'ole. Wow!

THIS IS NOT A T-REX!!!
