Instead of collecting rotting garbage, French city sprays it with perfume

So I've been reading The Stand for probably the last month and a half. I'd seen the mini-series when it was on TV a long time ago and I really liked it. I'd just never got around to reading the 1100+ page tome. So finally decided to pick it up and it's a phenomenal book. I never would have imagined I would be wish that a book would be longer than 1100 but I do!

It's weird though, usually you pick up certain little things reading a book that the movie or TV just can't quite show you. The mini-series does the same thing to the book, it really expands on a lot of the book. Both are excellent.

Most of my tile is in now and it looks really good. Alan and his "apprentice" Peter are coming back tomorrow to finish up the last of the tile and then grout. I'm really impressed with how it came out. Angie didn't like the contrast of the checkerboard pattern in the kitchen but I think it turned out very well. I really like.

Sent out an email tonight about camping on Friday. Camping is gonna be really badass this time. By really badass I mean: not snowing! It's been really nice for the past three weeks or so, I'm really hoping camping will be the same way. It will certainly be a nice change.
