The Chico, California City Council enacted a ban on nuclear weapons, setting a $500 fine for anyone detonating one within city limits.

Had a pretty boring day at work today. Things have been slow lately, which is nice. It gives me some time to do some research on some on going problems we have. themabbi was supposed to go to lunch with me today but apparently he got up late and couldn't make it. Lame excuse :) Anyway we rescheduled for next week sometime.

I came home and spent a lot of time working on my picture script. It's fairly tight right now and it does it's job well. It's the little things like that, that bring me pleasure. I just need to take more pictures now, put up some more "albums."

Boeing is laying off 31,000 as a result of last weeks thing, I don't understand as aren't they going to be required to build 4 more planes

So there was a TV special America: A Tribute to Heroes. It was pretty much a telethon to raise money for the NY City tragedy. They simulcast it on thirty (30) channels. I flipped from channel 57 to 64 and the picture never changed. It was everywhere! They had all the celebrities performing, etc. to raise money for the cause. At one point Tom Cruise was answering the incoming pledges. I would have loved to get him on the phone:

"I'd like to pledge $100 to help NY City please... oh and while I have you on the phone Mr. Cruise... Why in the hell would you divorce a hot woman like Nicole? You crazy bastard!"

In a conversation tonight about tattoos I've decided that it would be really cool for a married couple to get similar tattoos. I'm thinking of something along the lines of the man getting TAB A tattooed just about his penis, and the women getting SLOT B tattooed just above her vagina. That would be cool.
