So I tried to go to bed a little early last night so I could catch up on all the sleep I've been missing from my mad partying this weekend. I was in bed at 11:05ish and I fell asleep, only to be woken up by my brother in the next room playing video games. He has an old ghetto CD-Rom that sounds like a jet taking off everytime it spins up. His computer is right next to the wall of my room so it would wake me up rattling... bastard.
I'm listening Richard Stahlman, this guy is incredibly smart. He's talking about all kinds of things including DVD copy protection, Free Software vs Zero cost software, copy right law, micro-payments, and even the future of publication methods. I think he embodies a lot of what is good in the society today. It's about giving back to society that has given you so much. I recommend you read or listen to some of what this guy has to say, it's very worth while.
I figured out the problem with my digital camera not wanting to transfer the pictures off it. Stupid Kodak and their crappy Win2k drivers. You have to manually point the install program as some obscure directory. Regardless, I got all my pictures transferred off. They're the last two big events that I've attended, 75 pictures total. I'm in the process of making them into thumbnails now thanks to Brad's wonderful thumbnail-thing-a-ma-bob!
Gonna add some last minute finishing touches to the Business Plan that's been kicking my ass for the last 2 weeks. I figure the more pretty graphics and colors I put into it the more impressed he will be (hey this is community college). Gonna go do that, and maybe watch a DVD before I crash for the night.
