Went out with Angie to buy her a new video card since I thought the one in her computer was bad. I put the new one in and it wouldn't boot. So I unplug the daughter board from the old one and put it back in and it works fine. The screen didn't flicker or anything. I started defragging the hard drive and walked away. About a half an hour later it starts beeping.

It had to be one of the alarms I set in the BIOS, but I didn't know which one (CPU temp, Fan speed, Voltage, etc). So I had to turn them all off one by one until it stopped beeping. Looks like she has a bad power supply, it's not supplying the correct voltage. I hope that didn't screw up anything else in her computer.

Been going through my perl book and playing with PERL. I download a PERL IDE called CodeMagic that I've been playing with in conjuction with learning PERL. So far I can match strings, search, replace, parse log files. Pretty much everything I can do with VB, just not quite as easily yet. Just need to learn a little more. I'm really enjoying it though.
