(no subject) @ 06:14 pm

So we had this "corporate culture" meeting this morning at 8:00am. Which meant that I had to get up at 7:00am to be to work on time. It sucked. I was totally silent the whole meeting on purpose because I'm not too enamored with the whole idea.

Basically we all sat around discussing what's wrong with the company (there are a lot of things). It wasn't as bad as I had hoped. It kind of felt like a "think tank" because there were some smart comments made.

We'll see if anything comes out of it. We've had all kinds of meetings in the past, and nothing ever gets done.

The VP of the president lead the meeting and finally in the last ten minutes called on me because I hadn't said anything. I told him that the whole company is messed up ya, but our individual departments are just as messed up. It makes no sense to me to try and "fix" the whole company when then little pieces don't work. Our focus is wrong. I got applause from one guy, it was weird.

We have another meeting next Tuesday at 8:00am, we'll see how that goes.
