Man with big-ass sword: 0. Cops with tasers: 1 @ 09:56 pm

I've been reading Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman and I'm really enjoying it. In fact I don't think Neil Gaiman has done anything I didn't really enjoy. Anansi Boys is quite British and thus I needed some minor translations from my buddy in the UK. Here ya go:

Chippie: a fish and chip shop
Saveloy: a type of sausage
Dressing gown: bath robe

It was a pretty blah day today, nice not to do anything. After the baby went to bed Angie and got bored and decided to play a game. We decided on Yahtzee since it's easy. I have plenty of dice but no score cards. The Internets to the rescue! I found a sweet Yahtzee PDF in about point oh four seconds and printed them out. We topped off the evening with a little strip Yahtzee and now I'm going to go to bed and read some 100 Bullets.

Easter tomorrow. Going to be a busy/long day.

Ya that one was weird. I was thinking that was something on a woman would wear, but nope. Those silly British.

No, I mean, I'm having trouble imagining someone who wouldn't know what a dressing gown was.
